Back in July 1993, two mechanics founded Groovy Automotive with the objective of bringing back the “honest, neighborhood garage”. The down to earth atmosphere & musician-mechanics at Groovy Automotive earned it the slogan “Home of the Groovy Mechanics”, and this outlook works well with the community spirit in Austin.
The principals of the corporation are all native Austinites with the desire to further the greatness this city has to offer, along with other hometown favorites like Jack Brown Cleaners, Amy’s Ice Cream and Texas French Bread. With each of these companies, the main factor behind their success is the quality they produce.
